21st January 2008: Matthew 2 Daphne 1

Daphne was revved up and raring to go as the duo resumed their squash games this weekend. She thrashed Matt in the first game 15-5 but from then on in it was Matthew who proved that slow and steady wins the race. He won the next match 15-9 and the last 15-6 to win the day.

27th September 2006: Matthew 1 Daphne 2

Daphne was determined to get back on level terms this week. It took both players several days to recover from the body aches caused by last weeks bruising encounter. This week, Daphne warmed up before but this appeared not to be too much of a help as  Matthew won the first game. Daphne then took the next two games to level the scores. She even warmed down after the game and has suffered no muscle aches this week. Matthew however decided to resume his training in the Melkweg on Saturday night!!

20th September 2006: Matthew 3 Daphne 2

The first night of many planned squash games between Matt and Daphne. Matthew won the first match but Daphne was soon on his heels making it 1-1. Daphne's racquet was giving her problems due to the handle needing replacing. She played on despite blisters only to lose the next game. With both players digging deep, Matthew was unable to take advantage as Daphne fought back through the pain to level once more. The last match went to Matt and he now carries a 3-2 lead into next Wednesday's match.
