Liam Carter Broad

Liam was conceived whist we were on holiday in

Mt Shasta, Northern California in May/June 2004.

We liked the name Liam and gave it to him as soon as we knew he was going to be a boy.

We gave him Carter as a middle name in honor of my father's line. My Great grandfather was called John Carter Broad. His mother was Nanny Carter and whilst researching my family history we went to where she was born; St Buryon in Cornwall.

Liam is an Irish name and a shortened version of William. At the time of his birth the furthest back i had gone on the Broad side of the family was to William Broad who was born around 1700 in Truro, Cornwall.
