Vincent's Great Great Grandparents were Josiah Henry Broad and Mary Ann Richards. They are my great great great Grandparents!

Josiah and Mary were married in St Hilary, Cornwall 25 June 1826 and had 11

children of which two died in early infancy.

 Vincent's Great grandmother was Mary Ann Roberts Broad who was the 5th

Child and older sister to my Great Great Grandfather Issac Broad.

Mary Ann Roberts Broad married blacksmith William White in Penzance in December

1855 and arrived in Australia aboard SS Great Britain in Feb 1865. She arrived

with her husband and a little girl of seven after a long and probably uncomfortable

sea voyage. After disembarking at Williamstown they traveled to Castlemaine,

a journey of about seventy miles, probably by bullock wagon and with all their belongings. In Castlemaine they would have lived in a tent in the hottest

part of the summer. In a month she gave birth to William. (25 mrt 1865

in Castelmaine, Australia).
